Edgewater Resources is a design-forward engineering and development consultancy focused on marinas and waterfronts worldwide. Our teams in Michigan, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Argentina and field offices collaborate on projects in the Great Lakes Region to the Caribbean, and beyond. The ideal candidate will support the firm's’ effort to apply sustainable design to natural and made coastal, riverine, and aquatic environments. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE

  • Waterfront structure and marine infrastructure project interest/training, including harbors, marinas, vessel mooring and berthing structures, bulkheads and seawalls, breakwaters and shore protection structures, shoreline stabilization and sediment management.

  • Contribute to project teams from conceptual design to detailed final design.

  • Prepare cost estimates, project schedules, engineering reports, other technical documents.

  • Conduct field work including surveying and construction observation.

  • Responsibilities can include site visits and evaluation, concept/solution development, coordination across disciplines, document production, data/spreadsheet management, construction administration.​​

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil, Coastal, Environmental, Ocean, Structural/Geotechnical Engineering

  • EIT/PE License track required

  • AutoCAD or Civil 3D experience required

  • Construction oversight experience desirable

  • Authorized to work in the United States of America
